Garrick Cook's The Struggle IS Real! announces once more that God has not promised that this life will be free of obstacles; there are mountains and valleys on the path to fulfillment and peace, but God has provided us with the tools to traverse all terrains in His name. In his experience, Cook has found that it is better to trust God's providence and follow Him in His way, rather than to try and determine where the path leads before He's ready to show us. Unlike humanity, God always has a plan and a solution, so maybe our focus should be more on trusting His providence rather than trying to anticipate His omniscience. Try as we might, we cannot find joy through the denial of hardships and the quick fix of material possessions and destructive habits. However, God offers us the greatest joy through a covenant with Him that sustains us during this arduous journey. But one thing is for sure, the struggle IS real!
